Your first visit is called our New Patient Examination. At this visit, we hope to accomplish the following:

  • Obtain a medical and dental history on the patient
  • Complete a comprehensive orthodontic examination to determine the extent to which orthodontic treatment may be needed
  • Prescribe orthodontic records consisting of: X-rays, study models, photos, etc. that may be required by the doctor for a more thorough understanding of the orthodontic problem
  • Follow up on whatever records or treatment plan you need and to which you agree

Orthodontic records can be taken on this visit, reducing the time necessary to present you with a comprehensive Diagnostic Analysis and Treatment Plan. To set aside the time necessary for records on the first visit, inform our receptionist that you would like records taken at the time you schedule your new patient exam.
